Specializing in large component manufacturing, Standard Machine, Inc. machines all parts using advanced CNC technology and carefully measures them to guarantee the highest quality precision.

We produced the cast steel infeed nozzle guide pictured here for use in the oil & gas industry. Featuring dimensions of 58″ in length, 39.375″ in width, we manufactured this cast steel part using our 90″ swing CNC Vertical Boring Mill, which provided all of the precise bore diameters thru the 58″ length. The bores have tolerance of +.003 / -.000. We also utilized our CNC Horizontal Boring Mills for additional machining operations, which included facing, tapping, drilling, and reaming.

Having overhead lifting equipment facilitated moving and positioning this large, heavy part and our engineers devised unique work-holding solutions to ensure we would achieve ultra-precise true position accuracy of ±0.002″. Our high-speed computer-controlled equipment, combined with the engineering and machining expertise of our talented staff, enabled us to complete this job within a short, 2.5 week timeframe.
